Wonderful place to stay and to connect with the beauty all around. Never got tired of the view. Luxury accommodation, very clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island is a boutique, adults-only (12+ years) luxury retreat. The 250-acre coastal estate offers stunning ocean views, wildlife and a pristine, secluded beach. Breakfast at Sea Dragon Lodge was the best continental - on arrival in the fridge there bottles of fruit juice, a large crock of butter & big carton of Paris Creek Greek-style yoghurt. In the pantry cupboard there were 2 attractive glass containers with 2 different recipes of muesli - we were told they were made by the cook with oats tossed in Ligurian honey, on one lots of almonds, pecans, pumpkin seeds, & plenty of sultanas, currents & other bits of dried fruit, the other jar featured pieces of coconut, cranberries & other fruits but we preferred the other; there were little jars of Beerenberg jams & marmalade & on the bench was a bowl of fresh fruit & a beautiful sourdough loaf; a new loaf was delivered every other day & other items replenished. The loaves kept really fresh, we brought home the uneaten part of our last loaf, couldn't bear to let it go to waste! Our dinners from the cook were very enjoyable as well, for mains we had great individual chicken & leek pies, lamb shanks, & each had 2 lovely large fillets of King George whiting on our last night. We loved the great views, the private cove a short but steep walk away , bush scenery all around & wildlife visiting us in the mornings & from late afternoon. It was so peaceful & lovely , we enjoyed every minute of our holiday.

You guys were professional in every way. Accommodation and food was of the highest standard specially the Dinner that is so amazing and a wonderful experience for us. The owner of the property was very humble and a very nice person He helped us with planning our itinerary for kangaroo Island. Very nice person to talk to. The room was pretty good.. with patio and sea facing room. We were 4 people in one room.. .the room was spacious, clean. , a very comfortable stay. Woukd recommend staying here. They have an Indian restaurant at the hotel as well. , unfortunately was closed during out stay. But the owner did help us with arranging dinner for the night

Within 2 minutes of arriving, we spotted our first Koala in a tree right by the office. The owners are friendly and helpful and really make sure you feel at home. The camp kitchen is one of the best we have seen in any caravan park in Australia. There is a selection of essential food (and wine) at the little onsite shop and it's reasonably priced.

Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Kangaroo Island. Super quick drive from the ferry and easy drive to all other locations around the island. Apartment stayed super warm at night, really comfy beds and again, such a beautiful view of sunset and sunrise over the ocean.

One of the challenges when finding accommodation on KI, is that many non-hotel rentals are larger properties for families. There are just the 2 of us travelling and this place was ideal for our 3 night stay. We liked the peace and quiet and yet it was just over 5 mins to Kingscote. The property is new and is well maintained with everything we needed.
