KI Dragonfly Guesthouse is a privately owned and hosted guesthouse located in Kingscote on Kangaroo Island. Free parking, WiFi and luggage storage is included. The guesthouse features 3 double bedrooms and a twin room. Susie & Bruno were fabulous, over the top hosts who made us feel immediately at home in their very comfortable guest house. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and “breaking bread” with the other guests from around the world. They included us in their meal even though we arrived late. We wish we could have stayed much longer to continue to experience their hospitality as well as take in even more of Kangaroo Island. I will tell all of my friends to seek them out!

We stayed at Wedgetaildown (on Kangaroo Island) for three nights but wish it could have been longer. We arrived near dusk and were immediately captivated by the wildlife that greeted us as we proceeded down the long drive to the property. Peter and Betty are terrific hosts and extremely knowledgeable of Kangaroo Island. They went above and beyond to make our island experience more than we could have imagined, helping us refine our itinerary, recommending restaurants, and providing numerous other insights. We enjoyed feeling their passion for the island and its wildlife. Inside, the guesthouse was very spacious and clean, fully up-to-date and sustainable, and contained everything we needed to feel at home, with an ample supply of breakfast food to use at our convenience. The guesthouse is located on a large, open, quiet, majestic property teaming with kangaroos that entertained us each morning and evening; yet it is still centrally located making the entire island very accessible. For example, we were able to visit Seal Bay to the South, Flinders Chase National Park to the West, Stokes Bay and Kingscote to the North, and American River and Penneshaw to the East – and we still had time to walk, explore, and experience their expansive Wedgetaildown property and gaze well into the night at the most star filled sky we had ever seen. We highly recommend Wedgetaildown as your base of operations for experiencing Kangaroo Island. Made of stone and recycled timbers there are sea views from every room. It has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a shower and bath, and an extra outdoor bathroom. A well designed house which kept temperature stable day and night. Beautiful views / sunsets and tranquil setting.

Wanderers Rest on Kangaroo Island is a small seaside guest house. The beautiful venue has come into new management, a small family run business. The three star facility focuses on customer satisfaction while ensuring hospitable and personable service. A really great experience, highly recommended! Owners are lovely and very caring and kind, and great to talk to. The place is amazing and in a decent position to the rest of the island which helps for getting around. It has a gorgeous view overlooking the lagoon, beautiful wooden and natural theme inside the main lobby lounge area and very calming and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are great and have what you need, and for the price this is an absolute bargain and excellent quality.

Featuring sea views, The Anchorage Cottage Kangaroo Island features accommodation with water sports facilities and a balcony, around 37 km from Christmas Cove Marina. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, tennis at the tennis court, free private parking and free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The decor in the Anchorage was quirky and colourful. The property was well equipped and in a good location. I would definitely stay there again as I thought it was reasonably priced and value for money. Kangaroo Island is always a magnificent place to visit.
