True North B&B is 600 metres from Horseshoe Bay Ranch, where you can join a guided horse riding tour. Nelly Bay Harbour Ferry Terminal is 12 minutes’ drive away and Townsville is a 25-minute ferry ride away. The rooms were amazing, you can find everything you need. Deb was extremely nice, helpful and kind. She cooks breakfast everyday and she puts so much love in it. Thanks for everything!

Stunning property set in the forest. You feel that you are tucked away in the rainforest but the town is so close by so it is the perfect location. Relaxing on the balcony listening to all of the wildlife is a very special experience. The host is so lovely and goes out of her way to make your stay very comfortable. Highly recommended.

The bed and breakfast is a 3-minute drive from Magnetic Island Marina and a 4-minute drive from Horseshoe Bay Park. Like staying with family, Phil was very helpful in telling us about local spots to go.

Arcadia Beach Guest House and Car Hire is located directly across from the beautiful Geoffrey Bay Marine Park hosting many varieties of marine life. It has wonderful snorkelling opportunities with the self-guided snorkel trail and Molke shipwreck at your doorstep. Stroll to the end of the bay to see the rock wallabies or take a bush walk to amazing lookouts and see koalas in their natural habitat. Loads of info from Ian on what to do around the island, you can rent cars and snorkel gear. We were very pleasantly surprised by the tent, the property was across the road from a beautiful beach. Only 15 min walk from ferry port and lots of places to sit & chill in the evening. We also spotted parrots & possums during our stay which was very fun. Bus stops are very closed too, $4.80 for an all day pass was great.
