Oh and the Wi-fi was warp speed too!!

The prestigious Almorah Hotel was built around 1841 and is a listed building of great importance. It is situated in an elevated position above the town of St Helier with magnificent views over the town and its interesting harbour filled with a mixture of fishing boats and private yachts. In a quite location away from the busy town… we had a perfect room with a balcony.. was so lovely to sit out on and have a glass of wine and take in the lovely views.. also the hostess was fab.. all in all was a lovely hotel and would defo stay there again.. jude

Overlooking Bouley Bay, this 4-star guesthouse with an outdoor swimming pool occupies an countryside setting in Trinity. Originally built 200 years ago, the guesthouse maintains some original features. We really liked the pool side villa, very modern, clean and comfortable. The location was great too, very picturesque and quiet. The owners were very friendly and looked after us well.

Jersey Museum is within a 15-minute walk of Thalatta Guest House, and the centre of St Helier is a similar distance away. Jersey Airport is around 11 minutes’ drive away, and receives flights from a variety of European destinations. This place is excellent value for money. It is one of the cheaper options that i could find which is why i chose it as a base for exploring Jersey. A 10 minute walk into St.Helier/liberation Bus Station. Bus stops also at the top and bottom of the road. All the information was provided to us upon arrival including the code to get back into the building. The host was friendly and welcoming. Wi-fi was decent aswell. Breakfast is served 8:30-9:30, cereals, juices, cooked breakfast available to order and was brought out almost immediately. Rooms serviced daily. Bags could be stored after checkout to collect later closer to our flight time.

Bon Viveur Guest House is situated in Saint Aubin, 100 metres from Saint Aubin Beach, 300 metres from St Aubin’s Bay Beach, as well as 2 km from St Brelade - Ouaisne Bay Beach. The property is around 3.6 km from Jersey War Tunnels, 11 km from Jersey Zoo and 5 km from La Moye Golf Club. The accommodation features free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a family-friendly restaurant. The staff were fantastic- very friendly and helpful. The view from our room over the harbour was beautiful. There were lots of restaurants in the area, but the Sorrento restaurant underneath the hotel was superb, the best we’ve eaten at in 3 weeks of travel. The bus to and from the airport is a 300m walk from hotel.

Avoca Villa Guest House is situated in Saint Helier Jersey, less than 1 km from St Aubin’s Bay Beach, 2 km from Havre des Pas, and 5.5 km from Jersey War Tunnels. Comfortable room (5) with bath. Nice light. Quiet.

De L'Etang guest house is less than a 10-minute walk from St Helier town centre. Esplanade and St Helier Harbour are less than 3 kilometres away. Location is good close to center and easily find public transportation, the staff were fabulous special thanks to the owner John

The Prince of Wales overlooks the beach of Greve de Lecq, one of Jersey's most beautiful bays, with its sandy beach and wonderful views over Sark and the nearby French coast.

The Prince has been refurbished to a high standard, and has a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. You can dine on freshly caught seafood in the popular hotel restaurant, overlooking the beach and sea. A bar is also available on the premises. Third visit and the room was the biggest yet (room 1) Breakfast was always a hard choice as everything was so good. Same for dinner menu, we eat in twice and thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

At the guest house, units have a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. The guest house features some units with inner courtyard views, and the units are fitted with a kettle. I was here for the second time in April, everything was perfect, quiet, clean Villa at good location, close to the centre. I can only recommend the accommodation a lot.
