Peaceful setting, very clean, fine for our one night stay. Liked the exposed brick and beams styling as a good contrast to the bland black, white and grey everywhere else.
Lovely place to stay and explore the area. We were there specifically to visit Maggie Beer Farm shop, it was a birthday gift to me. An amazingly beautiful serene place to visit. Went to the local pub for a meal, excellent food and very large serves.

Lyndoch is a great little town with lots to see and do. A trip to the tourist information centre is a must before you begin.
The staff at the place I was staying, were most helpful and informative. They were able to assist in providing information about special deals at places to see while I was visiting. Two for one lunch meals, drink specials, days tours of wineries and the list goes on. Helped me to save so I could do and see more.
Lyndoch is a great place and I highly recommend to stay when touring the Barossa of South Australia.

The hotel was clean and while it wasn’t luxurious, it had everything one needs for overnight stays. We only had to walk a dozen steps to get into the dining room/bar. Nice and quiet and good value for money

This property is almost impossible to be found when you arrive late at night in the pitch dark. The signs are dark and are unable to be seen from the road. The accommodation was unclean and looked nothing like the advertised pictures.
We would not suggest this property to anyone.

We liked that we could have meals onsite.
We liked that we could have meals onsite. It is quite and close to all of the Barrosa. The pool was lovely but not suitable for older people who have leg problems. It was very hard to climb out. Overall very nice it was my second visit.

The Merlot House is a modern country home with all the facilities you would expect in a functioning home, Nearby is an excellent restaurant. Great food and great staff. Very enjoyable stay amongst the woodland birds and vineyards. Lyndoch, a small country town in South Australia's Barossa Valley is just a 3 minute drive away. The Barossa is the home of wines of worldwide acclaim. Overall, an excellent stay and I will be staying again at the wonderful prices.
Lyndoch Hotel is a quiet & comfy little gem of a place to stay. There are only three rooms tucked away behind the social area. The staff are friendly & informative, especially Mazz. The bed is most comfortable & the room had all that we needed, microwave, toaster, fridge & the shower pressure great. There was free wi-fi for those who need it. And there is ample off-street free parking. We thoroughly recommend Lyndoch Hotel for both short & long stay. Thank you to all at Lyndoch Hotel
The house was amazing, huge and really beautiful. Each of the bedrooms was private with own ensuite, very comfortable beds, warm quilts. The location was gorgeous, very quiet except for the frogs in the pond which was lovely. A couple of the bedrooms incorporated their own lounge area. Excellent communication from the owner.
We particularly liked the library and assortment of interesting books.
Very close to Lyndoch township and the Green (5minutes)
very nice and comfortable cottage in Lyndoch. The decoration is so detailed and cozy that you don't want to leave the place! the kitchen is super well equipped, the bed very comfortable, the fireplace just adds even more coziness to the place, and the mega bonus is the jacuzzi, just awesome to wind down at home. There is plenty of space outdoors to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the sun.
Beautiful, peaceful location. Accomodation was fantastic spacious and very comfortable. Fridge stocked with farmers own brand butter, milk, eggs, sausages, bacon, cold meats Delicious!!!! Fresh oranges.
Very friendly with option to see the evening routine on the farm which we really enjoyed.
Secluded private accomodation and easy shirt drive to Lyndoch. Loved our stay here, highly recommend!
We booked this as part of our trip to South Australia for our wedding anniversary.
Very high quality accommodation with everything we needed to help us celebrate.
Complimentary inclusions including materials for continental and/or cooked breakfast and snacks. Plus a bottle of wine!
Fantastic hosts who helped with advice for sightseeing and restaurants.
The cottage is set in a scenery like no other, surrounded by vineyards with a great view of the distant hills. What goes unmentioned is the astonishing night sky due to the little to no light pollution in the area.
Everything included in the breakfast was also to mention, great range with even better flavours.
Great place for a little getaway.
Great location - gateway to Barossa.
Very friendly staff
Lovely well appointed & equipped room albeit a little dated.
Safe and secure. Ample parking.
Very quiet for a hotel/ country pub!
Great bakery, cafes and gift shop in Main Street. Stone’s throw from Kies Winery which is gorgeous.
Only takes up to 60 minutes from CBD.
The peace and quiet of country living was exactly what we needed. The beautiful tree to sit under and watch the sun go down is a must experience. The cottage had everything one would need. Plus close to our favorite place to eat... The Lord Lyndoch. Highly recommend this cute little cottage
Beautiful Country Cottage located within vineyards. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, reminiscent of a bygone era with a modern well appointed kitchen and modern bathroom. Centrally located in the heart of the Barossa with great pub food nearby.
Excellent location with everything close to hand. Lovely and quiet setting, though not if you don't like the dawn chorus! Would happily stay here again when visiting Lyndoch. No wifi at the property meant we could just relax and unwind.
The grounds of the hotel are breathtaking. The local pub was an excellent choice for dinner. And breakfast in the resturant was exceptional. Most friendly and helpful staff as well. Will definately be staying there again.
It’s location for us as a family was perfect. Our son played sport in Lyndoch and we took the opportunity to explore local wineries and points of interest.
